Final Manuscript Upload

Please complete the following steps to upload your final manuscript to EDAS: 

1. Revise your paper taking into account the review comments. Use the IEEE paper templates and prepare a PDF file. Do not add any copyright notice to your paper. This will be done automatically by EDAS based on the information provided in the electronic copyright form that you will have to fill out in step 3. 
2. Generate an IEEE Xplore compliant PDF paper by using PDF eXpress. The conference ID is: 60555X.

Creating your PDF eXpress Account

Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site

First-time users should do the following:

1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
2. Enter the following: 60555X for the Conference ID your email address a password
3. Continue to enter information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

In both cases (firs-time users and previous users), you can upload your PDF files by clicking on the “Dashboard” option displayed in the left panel.

If you do not find an answer in the Find Answers tab, go to the Ask A Question tab. Your question will be forwarded to IEEE PDF Support and answered within 3 business days

3. Upload your PDF eXpress compliant file to EDAS. 
   1. Log in to EDAS and select your paper.
   2. Click on “Final manuscript” to upload it. When doing so, you will be asked to fill out (or upload) the copyright form. 
   3. Click on “upload or fill out” the IEEE copyright form. A new page opens. 
   4. Click on “IEEE copyright submission”. It is important to select this option (and not to upload a file with the filled copyright form) because EDAS will automatically add the corresponding copyright stamp (Crown, EU, USA Government employees or “rest of employees”) but only to the papers with electronically copyright form.

Please take note of the following important points:

1. In order for your paper to be published in the 2024 IEEE SmartGridComm Conference Proceedings and to qualify for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, at least one of the authors of an accepted paper must complete registration for the conference at the FULL (member or non-member) rate.
2. Each FULL registration allows the author to upload a maximum of three (3) papers on which they are listed as an author or co-author.
3. Please note that the deadline for (early) registration and final upload is displayed in the conference website.
