Workshop on Digital Twin for Smart Grid

2024 IEEE International Conference on Communications, Control, and Computing Technologies for Smart Grids (SmartGridComm) – Workshop on Digital Twin for Smart Grid

CALL FOR PAPERS

The dynamic evolution of smart grids has consistently beckoned innovative approaches to enhance it efficiency, reliability, and adaptability. As an emerging and powerful technology, the digital twin focuses on creating the virtual space or the digital replica for the physical world to perform model, simulation, and control. This enables the smart grid to make plan ahead, resulting in high prediction of planning, security of decision-making, and scalability of application. As the integration of the digital twin in smart grids, there are plenty of unprecedented challenges for smart grids in terms of architecture, planning, detection, optimization, and control, etc.

This workshop aims at inviting researchers from industry and academia to share their recent findings and views on novel modelling, theories, and technologies of digital twin for smart grids. Through fostering collaboration and facilitating the sharing of expertise, this workshop intends to accelerate the digital simulation, trading and operation, and ultimately contribute to the digital transition of smart grids.
